Ebatinca acknowledges the support of CDTI and the NEOTEC Programme at the beginning of its journey

At Empresa de Base Tecnológica Internacional de Canarias S.L. (EBATINCA), we would like to publicly express our sincere gratitude to the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology and Innovation (CDTI), an organisation under the Ministry of Science and Innovation, for the support provided to our project, “Computational Medical Imaging for Sustainable Development (MIC4SusDev)”, funded through the NEOTEC 2020 Programme (Resolution of 30 December 2020; File No. 00157641/SNEO-20201265).
The project was approved during the company’s first year of activity and was instrumental in its initial consolidation. The project had a total budget of €275,000, including a €192,500 grant from CDTI, and was carried out between January 2021 and April 2023.

The project enabled us to develop an application for the training of ultrasound-guided percutaneous procedures, as well as to obtain ISO 9001 certification for quality management and UNE 166002 certification for R&D&I management.
The grant received helped co-finance three positions at Ebatinca: Director of Research and Technological Development, Director of Planning and Organisation, and R&D Engineer, with the latter two joining the company as new hires thanks to the project. The grant also contributed to the acquisition of specialised equipment.
We would once again like to thank the NEOTEC Programme and CDTI for the opportunity provided, and encourage young innovative technology-based companies to participate in this programme.
