Our Carbon Footprint Monitoring Project Joins the Sandbox Smart Destination Tenerife

We are proud to announce that our Carbon Footprint Monitoring project—an evolution of the former SITS—has been selected to participate in the Sandbox Smart Destination Tenerife (SSD Tenerife). This innovation platform will allow us to test and validate our tool in real-world environments, contributing to the transformation of tourism towards a more sustainable model.

Tourism is one of the industries with the highest environmental impact, making the need for data-driven and AI-powered solutions more urgent than ever. Our project will apply advanced data analysis technologies to measure, monitor, and reduce the sector’s carbon footprint, enabling businesses and destinations to make more informed decisions.

Thanks to SSD Tenerife, we will be able to develop and refine our tool in a controlled testing environment that simulates real industry conditions. This opportunity will not only enhance the system’s accuracy and efficiency but also demonstrate its applicability across different tourism contexts.
